NILO: Rodríguez López's new project
Type B/C ambulance UNE-EN 1789
Rodríguez López Auto presents their new project for type B / C ambulances: the NILO ambulance. It is an ambulance that can comply, taking into account its interior equipment, as a type B sanitary vehicle (Basic Life Support) or as type C (Advanced Life Support) always following the European regulations UNE-EN 1789.
The NILO project is a revolutionary ambulance with thermoformed ABS interior, carried out on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter L2 H2 van with front or rear-wheel drive (2018). This adaptability on the traction variants of the base vehicle makes it a unique model.
This new project was born in order to improve the current fleet of Rodríguez López with clear objectives:
reducing the weight inside the sanitary cell,
offering an ambulance made with ABS,
and maximum customization of its interior.
All this without forgetting an elegant design, comfort and high performance.
It should be noted that this unit is made according to the latest technology and according to the guidelines of European regulations. The care cabin is made with sheets of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), a material highly resistant to impact, with excellent thermal and chemical resistance, as well as excellent thermoforming properties. Thanks to this material, smooth surfaces are obtained in which edges are eliminated, angles are minimized and the weight of the transformation is greatly reduced.
Outside, the priority lighting is a spoiler with 360º visibility, a distinctive lightning by Rodríguez López Auto.
